Antenatal and Postnatal Teacher Training Scotland

 

FEDANT approved antenatal teacher training is now here!

Mums in Scotland are just so keen to train in our unique relaxed-active birth education programme north of the border, and become FEDANT approved antenatal teachers or as we call them, birth mentors.  As such and because we believe re-training as an antenatal teacher should be as easy and family friendly as possible, our dedicated Scottish antenatal training and support centre is now open!

Our unique Daisy Birthing® antenatal teacher training is led by an experienced birth professional, clinical hypnotherapist, mum and of course Daisy Birthing / Baby mentor and trainer, and takes place in a central Scottish location (Glasgow), making it so much easier for mums with young families to train as an antenatal teacher.  She will be ably supported by her own local team, along with the team in England (Lazy Daisy ltd).

What's more, because no one understands parents living in an area better than a local mum herself, Scottish advertising, media support and promotion will be co-ordinated from, yes you've guessed it, Scotland!  Design and Technical support will be administered in the usual way, through the web based online Support Desk which links directly to the design and web support team.

Of course all Scottish teachers will continue to benefit from the work undertaken by Parent company Lazy Daisy Ltd in England, as the team continue to roll out a monthly programme of National advertising to benefit teachers from all corners of the UK!  Parents and teachers alike may well have seen us featured in publications such as Practical Parenting, Pregnancy & Birth Magazine, Prima Baby, Gurgle Magazine and Sainsbury's.  Lazy Daisy and the Daisy Birthing® programme has also featured on www.babyexpert.co.uk.

 

Antenatal Teacher Training Dates

 

Lazy Daisy Birthing Dates = 29/30/31 March & 19/20/21 April 2012, July Dates TBC

Lazy Daisy Baby Dates = 22/23/24 June 2012

 

Enrolment Criteria for our antenatal teacher training birth and baby bonding mentor programmes

• You must have given birth (but not necessarily a vaginal birth)
• You should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in positive, holistic or active birthing either through your own birth preparation or research / reading you have undertaken
• Or hold a relevant qualification such as Hypnobirthing, Birth Doula, Baby Massage therapist, Pregnancy therapist
