Ipswich (Suffolk) is where Lazy Daisy began.  Home to the Lazy Daisy founder Julie Long, classes began with just modest numbers in a small church hall but quickly developed at such a phenominal rate and with such a fantastic reputaiton, that we needed to form an Ipswich Franchise in its own right, purely to cater for the demand.  Ipswich now operates as The East Anglian Birthing Centre, headed up by long standing Daisy Birthing and Daisy Baby teacher Shelley Brinkley..

Welcome to classes with Mama2Mama

Mama2Mama is a specific birhting company designed to offer advice and care from those who've been there.  This is very much why they choose the unique peer to peer support of Daisy Birthing® programme, for their antenatal offering.

Bassed in Ipswich, the studio offers a one stop shop for mums, providing a host of pregnancy and baby services.

 

Meet The Team

Shelley is a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 nursery nurse and has been teaching for Lazy Daisy for over three years.  She is qualified in Daisy Birting® Active Birthing sessions but her real passion is Daisy Baby (Lazy Daisy's unique Baby Bonding Class) and the positive affects this brings to both mum and baby.  Shelley manages the services provided at the East Anglian Birthing Centre, both Lazy Daisy modules and other ancillary services unique to the Centre, all of which are designed to benefit mums and babies!

Becky is Mama2Mama's lovely Daisy Baby® teacher, a qualified social worker Becky has joined our team with a passion for all things baby.  Mummy to a lovely little boy, Finley, Becky loves teaching the little ones but cannot wait to start her Daisy Birthing® training in February 2012.

What To Expect

• A relaxing haven and a fun environment for mum & baby, with a range of activities and therapies designed to promote positive pregnancy and positive parenting!
• Special 'mummy events' - pampering, shopping, educational - just contact Shelley to find out what's on offer this month!
• Visiting therapies (For example our regular homeopathy for pregnancy clinic)
• The original trade marked Daisy Birthing and Daisy Baby programmes
• A range of additional services unique to the East Anglian Birthing Centre such as postnatal fitness and pushchair exercise
