Coventry Daisy Birthing Classes Arrive

Daisy Birthing® antenatal classes come to Coventry

We are delighted to confirm a further addition to the West Midlands antenatal teacher team, as Sarah C joins us to launch Daisy Birthing® weekly antenatal classes and couples active birth workshops in the CV4/5/7/8 post code areas.

Sarah's own baby daughter Lotte was born at home in Coventry after a 12 hour labour and she strongly believes the comforting surroundings, support of her birth partner and belief in her body's natural ability to give birth, helped her to have a happy and enjoyable birthing experience. Of course Sarah understands not every mum-to-be will give birth at home, or be able to enjoy such a straight forward journey and this is why she loves the Lazy Daisy® ethos. We work with mums-to-be in the antenatal period to help them make every environment comforting (through use of music, relaxation, birth anchors and learning how to tune into the body) and to help them understand how gravity, subtle birth movement and position can help in a variety of situations, even when labour is happening on the hospital bed! Ultimately classes are about giving all mums birth confidence and helping them feel able to move with mother nature on whatever journey she takes!

Sarah will begin teaching our unique style of relaxed-active birth preparation in Coventry in late Spring 2012, as she works towards her final FEDANT registration status as an approved antenatal teacher.
