Antenatal classes for Cumbria

Mums north of England are really embracing the Daisy Birthing® antenatal class programme and we are delighted to now be able to make our weekly antenatal classses and intensive couples birth workshops available to mums in Cumbria, specifically Cockermouth, Workington and Maryport, as our newest antenatal birth mentor Alison (and mum of 6, yes 6!)  joins our Daisy Birthing® team.

Alison has been inspired by her role as a physiotherapist (BSc in Physiotherapy and also a Chartered Physiotherapist working in the local health authority and often specialising in Pelvic Floor issues) and as her role as a mum, and we know this experience, coupled with our programme, will lead to a fantastic all - round antenatal preparation for mums-to-be.  Remember are classes are so gentle even mums with SPD can join and with Alisons physiotherapy background, you can really be assured you are coming to the right place! 

Alison is so keen to launch antenatal classes in her area, that she simply couldn't wait for the next available England teacher training intake in February 2012 and so instead is joining our teacher training school in Scotland, to undertake her study.  She will be launching Daisy Birthing® classes on a teaching practise basis in early Spring 2012 (whilst she gains her final FEDANT approval)  and ladies who are in the early stages of their pregnancy are well advised to pre book a slot early, as we know our birth programme is very much in demand in Cumbria!
