From Birmingham to Cornwall
Welcome to classes in Sutton Coldfield and Truro
We are delighted to welcome a further two trainee birth mentors (Sutton Coldfield and Truro) to our Daisy Birthing® antenatal teaching team. It is wonderful to see yet more mums keen to inspire mums-to-be through our unique take on active birthing and antenatal education, or as we call it relaxed-active birthing. These girls understand active birthing should be a concept accessible to all, regardless of hip mobility or type of birth journey and are here to help mums-to-be reclaim their birth space. Active birthing to us is about knowing when to be active and knowing when to be still ... about being actively aware of your birthing body and what it is telling you!
Lee in Sutton Coldfield (Birmingham) and surrounding postcodes is already well known to local mums-to-be, through her delivery of the education programme Hypnobirthing; Lee also works as a birthing doula. She can't wait to work with our 'move to improve' approach as values movement for pregnancy!
Becky, mum to two in Truro (Cornwall), is also a familiar face to expectant mums and is currently enjoying voluntary work for the local maternity unit. Becky has also been working as a breast feeding peer supporter in Truro, and is passionate about helping empower local mums!
Both are keen to inspire birth confidence and well-being and can't wait to roll out Daisy Birthing classes will be available in Birmingham and Truro from Winter 2011!
