Class Summary
For those of you who are yet to visit our main site, we have summarised key features of our Daisy Birthing classes below:
- Weekly sessions 1hr 20mins in duration
- Each session includes gentle birth movement, breathing and relaxation/self hypnosis
- This is a 'move to improve' programme - education is delivered as you enjoy gentle stretches, making it much more 2nd nature to you
- Affirmations and Visualisation aid positive mindset, leading to a more comfortable birth (confidence lowers adrenalin)
- Suitable for all - even mums with SPD, as we learn to open without even taking our knees apart
- Great for easing common ailments (back ache, hip pain, heart burn, fluid retention) - pretty much ALL expectant mums can attend!
- Inclusive - all ages, backgrounds, number pregnancies, experience, planned birth journeys welcome
- Education is delivered in a unique 'everyday metaphor' way, helping increase understanding
- This is 'relaxed active birthing' - knowing when to move and when to rest, not movement for movements sake
- No scary birth props - we teach you to understand how your body is working, not train you to be midwives!
